Burlington, MA – November 28, 2011: SoftInWay Inc. has signed a software license agreement with Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India according to which the university will incorporate AxSTREAM Educational Version into the academic curriculum. It will help the students gain better understanding of the principles of turbomachinery design and optimization and enrich their educational experience by working with best-in-class design tools.
AxSTREAM is a software suite for design, analysis, multidisciplinary optimization and retrofitting of axial, radial, counter-rotating and mixed flow configurations of the flow path. For several years now, AxSTREAM Educational Version has been helping students to master the process of design and optimization for axial/radial turbines, axial/centrifugal compressors, as well as mixed flow and counter rotating turbomachinery.
