AxSTREAM™ Hydro – Conceptual Design and Optimization of Pumps
AxSTREAM™ Hydro is our multidisciplinary pump design software suite for pump design calculations, pump analysis, and pump optimization. AxSTREAM™ Hydro provides a flexible, integrated and streamlined solution for a complete flow path design process for radial and axial pumps and turbines. Users can start from initial pump sizing and design (from scratch) and end with 3D blade profiles in the final design phase.
Starting with preliminary pump design calculations (defining basic machine performance from a few simple parameters), AxSTREAM™ Hydro goes through meanline (1D) and axisymmetric (2D) analysis, profiling and 3D blade design of buckets, finite element analysis (FEA) and more. AxSTREAM™ Hydro finishes with export of geometry to 3D CAD models or for CFD calculations.
AxSTREAM™ Hydro supports all types of incompressible Newtonian fluids, including water, oil, and kerosene. Users can work with predefined default fluids or compress custom fluids based on known physical properties (density, viscosity).
