Dr. Leonid Moroz

Dr. Moroz is the founder and CEO of Softinway and also the lead designer behind SoftinWay’s flagship product, AxSTREAM ™. Graduating from Kharkov Polytechnic Institute in Kharkov, Ukraine in 1982, and holding various positions at NPO TURBOATOM, he has extensive experience with design of flow path for elements of gas turbines with power ranges between 35MW to 115MW as well as analysis of transient operating conditions (start-ups, shut-downs and etc) and low-cycle fatigue of the most thermally stressed high temperature components of steam turbines for fossil (220MW, 300MW) and nuclear (500 MW, 750MW and 1000MW) power plants. He also focuses on special thermal field testing of 750 MW and 1000MW steam turbine HP and LP cylinders, conceptual optimized design of gas/steam axial turbines in a wide range of power between 220MW and 300 MW and design last stage blades for LP steam turbines up to 1030 mm/ 3000 rpm.

Dr. Boris Frolov

Dr. Frolov is the Director of Engineering at SoftInWay, managing all of the turbomachinery consulting activities. He has over 35 years experience in steam/gas turbines design, analysis and testing. Earning his PhD in optimization with controlled reaction, he is an expert in steam turbines long buckets aeromechanics. With many publications and patents, prior to SoftInWay, he was the Engineering Manager for GE Energy – Russia. He has about 50 publications and 7 registered patents.

Mr. Joseph Veres

Mr. Joseph Veres has over 40 years experience in design, analysis and optimization of axial and centrifugal compressors and turbo pumps. His extensive turbomachinery experience consists of research and management positions at NASA Glenn Research Center, Dresser-Rand (formerly Dresser-Clark) and Teledyne Brown (formerly Teledyne CAE). During his time at these research and manufacturing icons, Mr. Veres developed and worked on an impressive number of new turbomachines for Defense, Propulsion and Petrochemical application as well as participated in various Environmental and Educational initiatives.

Dr. Yuriy Govoruschenko

Dr. Govoruschenko has over 30 years experience in developing turbomachinery design systems, optimization and calculation methods. He defended his PhD with thesis “Axial Turbine Optimal Design Methods", authored 2 books on turbomachinery design and optimization methods and has published more than 80 scientific publications.

Mr. Abdul Nassar

Mr. Nassar is the Technical Director of SoftInWay Turbomachinery Solutions Pvt. Ltd – SoftInWay’s sister company based in Bangalore, India. He has total of 13 years of industrial and academic experience. He began his career in turbomachinery as a steam turbine maintenance engineer, co-authored more than 17 publications in National and International conferences and Journals and prior to joining SoftInWay was a professor of Turbomachinery Design at a leading Indian University, teaching using AxSTREAM!

Mr. Petr Pagur

Mr. Pagur is Director of Software Development & Tech Support. He brings to SoftInWay, over 25 years experience in IT & CAD, and before joining the team over 10 years ago, was the Chief of Turbomachinery CAD at TURBOATOM Ukraine.
